I recently helped a client start advertising on Google. For years, they’d mainly advertised on Facebook.
I created the ads, set them up, and got everything running. The initial results were terrible. But, after the initial spend, I cut all the junk, and results improved dramatically. After that, we started getting sales at a lower CAC than Facebook Ads.
I don’t think Google is going to be a huge traffic source. But, it’s nice to be able to diversify. And, we’ll be able to reduce spend on Facebook, which will drive costs down there. And over time I think their Google Spend will grow and benefit them.
I recently took over the Media Buying and Email List Management for a new client. I optimized the emails and ads, and just cleaned everything up. Results have improved dramatically:
- Total sales are up 47% year over year.
- CAC is down 32%.
- Sales from Facebook are up 33%.
- Sales per Email Subscriber are up 49% year over year.
I took over the Media Buying for a client last May. A top-rated Ad Agency ran their ads from December 2021 thru April 2022. They really got started in January 2022, so this is the first month I have my results to compare with their results Year over Year.
Here are my Media Buying Results compared to the allegedly top rated ad agency’s results a year ago:
- Sales are up 27%.
- CAC is down 12%.
I’m not trying to toot my own horn, but results are results.
