So many marketers are scared that Facebook ads are going to stop working.
They gripe about IOS14 and other “boogiemen” that are supposedly going to destroy their businesses.
I’ll admit, I love Facebook Marketing. It’s a powerful marketing platform.
But, Facebook is not the only marketing platform available! So…
Here is what I will do if Facebook Ads stop working.
#1. I’d implement a “best leads” marketing strategy.
I’d focus on selling to my 100-1,000 best leads using direct mail, email, and outbound phone calls.
Yes, the cost to acquire a customer will be much higher.
But, the customer value will be much higher as well.
In fact, I recently used this strategy to get some new Facebook Marketing Clients.
The strategy worked so well that I thought about just using it instead of running Facebook Ads.
But, since I’m the Facebook Marketing Expert, that would make me a hypocrite.
So, here I am running ads, creating sales funnels, sending emails, and working hard to get customers from Facebook.
#2. I’d start testing out other online marketing platforms.
There are a ton of these! Here are some that come to mind right now:
- Youtube Ads
- Google PPC Ads
- SEO (Yes, it’s not a paid ad platform, but it still matters.)
- Tiktok Ads.
- Solo Emails (these are a great overlooked ad platform.)
- Affiliates.
#3. I’d start testing out different offline marketing platforms.
There are so many options to choose from:
- Direct Mail
- Magazine Ads
- Billboards
- Yellow Pages
- The Coupon Books like Mint Magazine, etc.
- Many more.
For example, I recently subscribed to Popular Mechanics and it’s full of great ads.
And, direct mail has always been a great way to get customers. But, it’s expensive and that’s why most marketers prefer online marketing.
Anyways… I’m not saying I’m invincible to marketing problems.
But, in my experience, there will always be marketing problems.
And, if you work hard to solve them, you will almost always solve them. And then your marketing will get back on track and your business will grow again.
But, my core marketing skills can be applied to just about any platform to drive sales and bring in customers.
But, I don’t see Facebook Ads going away anytime soon. And, I can still help you get more customers from Facebook.
